Community Memorial Service
Presented by our Hospice Program, our Community Memorial Service is open without cost to anyone who is grieving the death of a loved one, whether recently or in the past, and whether or not the deceased person received our Hospice services. Please "come as you are" to this evening of music, readings, and quiet time for reflection. Participation in this service can be another step forward on your healing journey. Those who attend are invited to bring a photograph of their loved one, in a stand-up frame if possible, for display during the service (optional). Plan to stay for refreshments after the service.
Join us on Monday, May 22, at 7:00 PM in the Clark Auditorium, Lowell General Hospital (main campus), 295 Varnum Street in Lowell.
Circle Home presents our fourth Death Cafe on Monday, June 19, at 6:00PM in the downstairs conference room of the Pollard Memorial Library, 401 Merrimack Street in Lowell. A Death Cafe is a participant-created dialogue on any topic related to death. This is an open discussion - there is no pre-set agenda and no promotion of any specific action, belief, product or theory. It's not an educational presentation or a grief support group... it's an open discussion... join us for this unique opportunity! There is no cost and refreshments are included. The goal is to reduce the stigma of talking about death, so that we can live our finite lives more fully.
